Director of Kids and Family Ministry

Full Time, Scalable

MERCYhouse Kids and Family Ministry Vision

The vision of MERCYhouse is to be a Gospel-centered family on mission to make disciples who make disciples on campuses, in communities, and among the unreached people of the world.

The MERCYhouse Kids and Family Ministry would accomplish this broader vision by specifically serving our children and our families, and extend this service to our community and the nations. This would be done by (1) establishing and solidifying our children in the Faith, (2) equipping and supporting our parents for discipleship in the home, and (3) serving and evangelizing our community and the nations.

While this vision encapsulates whole families, it prioritizes our children:

  • Our Sunday Ministry would be aimed at integrating our children into worship of God through His Word and song.

  • Our Family Ministry would be aimed at integrating our children into the church body by facilitating discipleship opportunities for our families and connecting our kids, parents and other church members together to cultivate an intergenerational fellowship of believers.

  • Our Family Outreach Ministry would be aimed at integrating our children into the mission by creating opportunities for our children, families and church to serve the families in our community and among the nations.
